Drilling Starts on Sundance Gas Well
Firesteel
Resources Inc. announces that drilling has just started on the Talisman et
al 12-3-54-21 W5M well in the Sundance area – near Edson, Alberta.
Firesteel Resources Inc. has a 1.875% working interest in this well. This
drilling location is on lands, which are part of a 6-section land package
that Firesteel has various interests in. This well has a projected depth of 2400 meters and the primary target is natural gas in the Cardium Formation. The Sundance area has a number of Cardium wells that produce at rates varying from 400 Mcf/d up to 2MMcf/day. The 12-3 well is located 2 kilometres from Firesteel’s existing gas well and is only 5 kilometres from the nearby Sundance gas plant. ON
